about

I wrote this song about doing the same thing over and over again, but not doing anything to change the flow. All while questioning why it is the way it is.

lyrics

The sirens tear me apart
I clench my fist and breathe it out again
A rush of blood and blackout
Makes for a heavy fix
Blinded eyes and nervous sighs
To make your soul go sick

Mistaking rainbows for clouds
Spins my head around
Throwing rocks at a house
Hoping the glass won’t break
Why could that be?
Why could that be?

The sky’s on fire
The final pyre
A call to arms that no one will sound
A wave of tones and greyed out drones
To douse your moral sense
Abandon knowledge and common ground
As you build your fence

Mistaking rainbows for clouds
Spins my head around
Throwing rocks at a house
Hoping the glass won’t break
Why could that be?
Why could that be?

Somewhere in a made up time,
I thought we found our place
What’s so wrong with being wrong?
Is that so out of place?

Somewhere in a made up time,
I thought we found our place
What’s so wrong with being wrong?
Is that so out of place?

Mistaking rainbows for clouds
Spins my head around
Throwing rocks at a house
Hoping the glass won’t break
Why could that be?
Why could that be?
